Appliance repair services in Hollywood

Berne services every major residential appliance in Hollywood. Our technicians are W-2 employees (not subcontractors), EPA Section 608 certified for refrigerant work, and every job comes with a tiered parts warranty (up to 10 years) plus 90-day labor warranty on top of the manufacturer warranty for installed parts.

Why Hollywood homeowners call Berne

Hollywood housing splits into Hollywood Hills single-family homes built between 1955 and 1980, the high-rise Hollywood Beach corridor along A1A, and the newer Emerald Hills and Oakwood developments west of I-95. Beach-side condos see the same salt-air condenser issues as Hallandale Beach next door, and Hollywood Hills has a heavy concentration of 15-to-20-year-old refrigerators and ranges that owners prefer to repair rather than replace. Berne HQ is in Hallandale Beach right next door — most Hollywood calls reach the homeowner within 15 minutes of dispatch.

Hollywood is one of our highest-volume cities — proximity to HQ means we route trucks here efficiently, and our techs know the building-coordination rules at the major Hollywood Beach towers.

What to expect from a Hollywood service call

Same-day dispatch when scheduled before noon, with morning, midday, and afternoon windows available depending on technician routing. The $59 flat-rate diagnostic fee is waived if you approve the repair — you only pay it if you decide not to proceed, and EPA Section 608 certification covers refrigerant handling on sealed-system jobs. Phone team is bilingual: English, Spanish, and Russian.

Pricing transparency

Most Hollywood repairs fall between $160 and $480 in parts and labor. Diagnostic-only visits are $59. Sealed-system refrigerator work (compressor, evaporator, condenser replacement) ranges higher because of the refrigerant-handling component. We provide a written quote on-site before any parts are ordered or installed, and the tiered parts warranty (up to 10 years) plus 90-day labor warranty covers the same fault returning at no additional charge.

Parts policy

OEM parts only on premium brands (Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, Thermador, Miele, Gaggenau, Bosch Benchmark) to preserve manufacturer warranty coverage. For mid-tier brands we will offer aftermarket alternatives at the homeowner’s option when an OEM part is back-ordered beyond a reasonable timeline.
