Built-in and premium coffee machine repair across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach. Miele CVA, Gaggenau, Jura, Wolf, Thermador, prosumer espresso. $59 service call, free with the repair · 4.79★ across 1,254 reviews · same-day slots most days.

The built-in coffee machine is the appliance people write off first, and it is the one that least deserves it. A $7,000 Miele CVA stuck on a descale message usually needs a $40 valve and an hour of work. Berne services plumbed and built-in machines, super-automatics and prosumer espresso across South Florida, with the parts that actually fail on these machines riding on the truck.

Coffee machines we repair

  • Miele CVA & CM
  • Gaggenau 200 & 400 series
  • Jura Giga, Z and S
  • Thermador & Wolf coffee systems
  • Breville Dual Boiler & Oracle
  • La Marzocco Linea Mini

Also Rocket, ECM, Lelit and Profitec prosumer espresso, De’Longhi La Specialista and Maestosa, and Bunn commercial brewers in offices and cafes.

What we do not take: Keurig, Nespresso, Ninja, Mr. Coffee, Hamilton Beach and countertop drip makers. A pod machine costs less than the service call, so replacing it is the honest answer, and we say that on the phone rather than after the visit. The line sits around $1,500. Above it, repair beats replacement almost every time.

Coffee machine descaling in Miami: why scale runs this town

Tap water across Broward and Miami-Dade runs 200 to 350 ppm hardness. That calcium goes straight into the boiler, narrows the flow path, and eventually blinds the flow meter. Once the meter cannot read flow, the machine loses the ability to measure its own cycle: descaling aborts halfway, or the prompt returns the moment it finishes. Most owners run the cycle three more times and buy a second bottle of descaler before calling anyone. By then the job needs tools rather than a button.

Descaling a coffee machine at that stage is not the same job as pressing the button. We take the panels off, circulate professional solution through the boiler and brew circuit, clean the flow meter and the 3-way solenoid by hand, and verify flow against spec before closing up. On a household pulling four to six drinks a day, plan a professional descaling every 12 to 18 months on top of what the machine does itself. A filter sized to your actual water pushes that interval out a long way.

Repair by brand

Miele coffee machine repair

CVA built-ins and the CM6 and CM7 countertop line. The three calls we get: a descale message that will not clear, a brew unit seized on hardened coffee oils, and water under the cabinet from the 3-way valve. Brew seals, O-rings and valves for the common models are truck stock. On plumbed CVA installs we check the cabinet base before we check the machine, because a slow leak warps the floor panel months before anyone notices it.

Jura coffee machine repair

Giga, Z and S super-automatics. Brew units jam mid-cycle, vibration pumps drop below 9 bar, grinders drift coarse until the cup goes thin. We rebuild the brew group, replace the seals, reset the gear timing and recalibrate the grind. A Z10 costs $3,000 to replace. The rebuild is a fraction of that.

Breville espresso machine repair

Dual Boiler, Oracle, Oracle Touch and the Barista line. Pale, fast shots with no crema are lost pressure, not bad beans: a tired vibration pump or an over-pressure valve bleeding off. We gauge real pressure at the group, rebuild or replace the pump, descale the path and reset grind and dose. These machines are worth the visit. The $200 countertop models are not.

Gaggenau, Thermador and Wolf coffee systems

Built-in 200 and 400 series, plumbed CMP 250, and the Thermador and Wolf systems that share the BSH platform underneath. Seized brew pistons, heater and NTC sensor faults, and supply leaks behind the surround. We pull the machine out of the column and set it back without marking the millwork.

DeLonghi espresso machine repair

De’Longhi La Specialista, Maestosa, Eletta and the Dinamica line. Thermoblock scale, brew unit wear and milk carafe faults are the usual finds. On the entry models we will tell you honestly when the repair does not pay against a replacement.

Bunn coffee machine repair

Commercial Axiom, ICB and Dual SH brewers in offices, cafes and condo amenity rooms. Tank elements plated with scale, plugged sprayheads, fill solenoids stuck open. Home Bunn brewers we leave alone.

Common problems, cause and fix

The descale message will not clear, or the cycle quits halfway
The circuit is calcified past what the onboard program can dissolve, and the flow meter has lost its reference. Manual decalcification with the panels off, flow meter and 3-way valve cleaned by hand. One visit in most cases.
Espresso pours pale and fast, no crema
Lost brew pressure. The vibration pump on a Jura or Breville, or the rotary pump on a plumbed La Marzocco, no longer holds around 9 bar. We gauge pressure at the group before anything gets replaced.
Brew unit jams, grinds, or will not return home
Coffee oils harden on the gears and piston, brew seals flatten, grounds pack into the mechanism. The unit comes out, gets stripped, resealed with fresh O-rings and food-safe grease, then re-timed.
Water pooling under the cabinet
On plumbed Miele CVA and Gaggenau builds it is the 3-way solenoid that dumps puck pressure, or a supply fitting weeping behind the surround. We isolate the leak under pressure and replace the failed part.
Coffee lukewarm, or the machine heats forever
Thermoblock scaled over, or an NTC sensor reporting a temperature the controller cannot reach. We measure element resistance and sensor values cold instead of ordering a board on a hunch.
Milk system foaming thin, or a sour smell
The milk circuit missed enough cleaning cycles for the lines and air valve to load up. Full service of the frother path, plus a maintenance rhythm that matches how the machine actually gets used.

Repair or replace

A built-in CVA runs $4,000 to $8,000 to replace, and the cabinet cutout limits what can go back in its place, so changing brands often means changing millwork. The two repairs that cover most calls, a brew unit service and a proper descaling, land between $220 and $550. We say replace when the brew unit housing, the boiler and the electronics have gone together, or after a water event. On this class of machine that is rare.

Frequently asked questions

Do you do coffee machine repair near me in Miami-Dade and Broward?
Yes. Same-day and next-morning slots are usually available across Miami-Dade and Broward when you call before noon at (754) 345-4515. Built-in machines get scheduled with the extra access time they need instead of being squeezed into a countertop slot.
How much does coffee machine descaling cost?
$220 to $450 for a manual decalcification with the panels off, which includes cleaning the flow meter and the 3-way valve by hand. That is the repair when the machine can no longer clear its own descale prompt. If the prompt still clears on its own, you do not need us yet.
Do you repair Keurig or Nespresso machines?
No. Pod and countertop drip machines cost less than the service call. We work built-in, plumbed, super-automatic and prosumer espresso machines, roughly $1,500 and up.
My machine is fifteen years old. Are parts still available?
Usually. Miele and BSH parts support for legacy platforms is good, and brew units, seals, valves and pumps typically arrive in two to four business days. We confirm availability and price before you commit to a repair on an older machine.
Do you service machines plumbed into a water line?
Yes, and those are most of our coffee work. We pull the machine out of the cabinet and put it back without marking the surround, then pressure-test the supply connection before closing up.
Can you fix an espresso machine that pours weak shots?
Almost always. Weak shots trace to pressure, grind or scale, in that order. We gauge the group, check the pump and over-pressure valve, then recalibrate grind and dose before we leave.
