Appliance repair services in Pembroke Pines
Berne services every major residential appliance in Pembroke Pines. Our technicians are W-2 employees (not subcontractors), EPA Section 608 certified for refrigerant work, and every job comes with a tiered parts warranty (up to 10 years) plus 90-day labor warranty on top of the manufacturer warranty for installed parts.
Why Pembroke Pines homeowners call Berne
Pembroke Pines is a younger-housing market — most homes are 1995-and-newer in developments like Pembroke Falls, Chapel Trail, and Silver Lakes. Appliances skew toward mid-tier GE, Whirlpool, LG, and Samsung, with newer Bosch dishwashers becoming common after kitchen remodels. We see a heavy share of LG and Samsung washer drum-bearing complaints (2018-2022 model years), dryer thermal-fuse failures from lint blockages in homes with long vent runs, and refrigerator ice-maker board failures on Whirlpool side-by-side units. Hallandale HQ to Pembroke Pines is a 20-to-30 minute drive west.
Pembroke Pines families pick Berne because we will quote in writing on-site, the $59 service fee is waived when you approve the repair, and the tiered parts warranty (up to 10 years) plus 90-day labor warranty actually means a technician comes back free if the same fault recurs.

What we fix most often in Pembroke Pines
These are the recurring repair patterns our dispatch sees across Pembroke Pines addresses. Knowing the failure modes in advance lets us route the right truck stock to your appointment.
Refrigerator ice-maker board failures
South Florida humidity drives premature ice-maker board failures, especially on GE Profile and KitchenAid French-door units. We carry replacement boards on the truck.
Dryer thermal-fuse and heating-element failures
Lint buildup in long vent runs trips thermal fuses and can burn out heating elements. We replace the fuse, clean the vent, and verify the cycle.
Washer drum-bearing failure (LG, Samsung 2018-2022)
Front-load LG and Samsung washers built between 2018 and 2022 commonly fail at the drum bearing between year 4 and year 7. We rebuild the drum or replace the assembly.
Dishwasher pump and control-board replacement
Bosch and KitchenAid dishwasher pumps and control boards are routine 6-to-9-year failures. OEM parts only, $280 to $440 range, $59 diagnostic — free with repair.
Range and oven igniter replacement
Glow-bar igniters on GE, Frigidaire, and Whirlpool gas ranges weaken at 8 to 12 years until the oven will not light. Single-visit replacement.
Microwave magnetron and door-switch repair
Over-the-range and built-in microwaves commonly fail at the magnetron (no heat) or door-interlock switches (no start). Both are repairable rather than replacement on premium units.
What to expect from a Pembroke Pines service call
Same-day dispatch when scheduled before noon, with morning, midday, and afternoon windows available depending on technician routing. The $59 flat-rate diagnostic fee is waived if you approve the repair — you only pay it if you decide not to proceed, and EPA Section 608 certification covers refrigerant handling on sealed-system jobs. Phone team is bilingual: English, Spanish, and Russian.
Pricing transparency
Most Pembroke Pines repairs fall between $160 and $480 in parts and labor. Diagnostic-only visits are $59. Sealed-system refrigerator work (compressor, evaporator, condenser replacement) ranges higher because of the refrigerant-handling component. We provide a written quote on-site before any parts are ordered or installed, and the tiered parts warranty (up to 10 years) plus 90-day labor warranty covers the same fault returning at no additional charge.
Parts policy
OEM parts only on premium brands (Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, Thermador, Miele, Gaggenau, Bosch Benchmark) to preserve manufacturer warranty coverage. For mid-tier brands we will offer aftermarket alternatives at the homeowner’s option when an OEM part is back-ordered beyond a reasonable timeline.
