Samsung refrigerator frozen evaporator and defrost repair in Hollywood
A Samsung refrigerator in Hollywood made a noise every time the fan came on. Daniel K. took out the shelves and the evaporator cover and found the evaporator coils frozen over, with ice packed around them.
He cleared the ice, installed an additional Samsung defrost heater and replaced the defrost sensor, then checked the wiring and how it was routed. With the cover and shelves back in, he powered the unit up and checked the fan, the first cooling and the defrost system.
