We repair appliances across Lakewood Ranch, on both the Manatee and the Sarasota County side. From November 2025 to September 2026 our Tampa Bay technicians handled 24 calls on the Ranch, most of them in ZIP codes 34202 and 34211. $59 covers the visit and diagnosis and is credited to the repair if you go ahead.

Your mailing address may say Bradenton

Two out of three Lakewood Ranch jobs in our system list Bradenton as the city. The Manatee County ZIPs are shared with Bradenton, and south of University Parkway the Sarasota County villages use 34240, a Sarasota ZIP. Tell dispatch whatever city is on your mail; either one works.

Most requests came from 34202, home to Calusa Country Club and Stillwater. ZIP 34211 was a close second. That is where building is still going on, in Star Farms, Del Webb Catalina, Cresswind and Azario. Palm Grove’s ZIP, 34212, sent a handful, and one call came from 34240 on the Sarasota County side, where Waterside is.

First-year faults in a new house

Census data puts the median Manatee County home at 1991, with 39 percent built in 2000 or later. The Ranch is newer. Its first village, Summerfield, was finished in 1995, and construction has not stopped since. In a house this young, a few common complaints come down to how the appliance was installed.

Front-loader that walks across the floor

Shipping bolts still in the back panel. The drum cannot float with them in.

New dishwasher that never drains

If it drains into a new garbage disposal, the knockout plug in the disposal inlet may never have been removed.

Ice maker slow from day one

Grit from fresh plumbing clogs the inlet valve screen, or the water line got pinched when the fridge was pushed into its cabinet.

Refrigerator doors that drift open

Nobody set the leveling legs. Tilted slightly back, the doors swing shut and seal; tilted forward, frost builds.

On a house under a year old, the builder may owe you those fixes. Builder kitchens tend to go in as one brand in one week, so the factory warranties run out together. We are an LG Authorized Service Center; some other brands send warranty work only to their own servicers.

What the tickets show so far

On tickets where the appliance was written down, refrigerators and washers came up most, then dryers, with one dishwasher and one range. Bosch and Samsung were the brands named. January and March were the busiest months, and June and July still brought a few calls each. The median paid ticket was about $250, parts and labor together. More on the two biggest categories: refrigerator repair and washer repair.

Monarch Acres and the priciest sections of Waterside list homes in the millions, and kitchens at that level often have built-in refrigeration. We repair Sub-Zero, Wolf, Thermador, Miele, Viking and Monogram, plus Bosch, Samsung, LG, GE and Whirlpool.

Gated villages and summers away

Star Farms, Cresswind, Stillwater and Monarch Acres are gated, so tell dispatch how to get through the gate when you book. Census data counts about 12 percent of Manatee County homes as seasonal, and 15 percent in Sarasota County. If you are up north for the summer, a neighbor or a property manager can let the technician in, and you still get a written price before any part is ordered.

The Ranch sits east of I-75, several miles from the bay, so outdoor kitchens here take much less salt than those on Longboat Key. What storms do bring is outages. Milton knocked out electricity across both counties in October 2024. If you run a portable generator after the next one, save it for the refrigerator; washer control boards can fail on power that surges and sags.

Booking a visit from the Ranch

Visits are handled by the technicians who cover Sarasota and Manatee. Phones are answered 7 AM to 9 PM daily in English, Spanish or Russian, and weekends cost the same as weekdays.

Brand-specific boards and ice maker assemblies are usually a two to three business day order, and the second visit is not charged a new service call. Repairs carry a tiered parts warranty (up to 10 years on welds, 2 years mechanical, 1 year electronics) plus a 90-day labor warranty. Write-ups of recent repairs are on the our work page.

Next door: Bradenton to the west, Sarasota to the southwest. Venice is a half hour down I-75, and the rest of the bay is on appliance repair in Tampa.

FAQ: appliance repair in Lakewood Ranch

Do you have an office in Lakewood Ranch?

My address says Bradenton or Sarasota. Do you still come?

Yes. We cover 34202, 34211, 34212 and the Lakewood Ranch part of 34240.

How soon can someone get here?

Call to check the next opening. The window depends on that day’s route through Sarasota and Manatee, and dispatch tells you what it is before you book.
