Osaki and Titan massage chair repair at home, from Miami and Boca Raton to Tampa, Sarasota and Naples. A chair that will not power on, error 68, airbags that barely inflate, rollers that stopped, a foot rest that lost its connection. Osaki, Titan, Kanji and AmaMedic models. The service call is credited to the repair you approve.

Osaki, Titan, Kanji and AmaMedic chairs come from the same company and share one warranty and much of the same hardware: a roller track, separate massage motors, an air system with a pump, valves and hoses, a foot and calf unit that plugs into the base, and a main board. Two of the most common Osaki problems are explained in the company’s own warranty FAQ, and both are worth checking before a visit.

Two checks from the Osaki and Titan FAQ

The chair does not power on
There is a fuse on the back of the chair near the power inlet, and a spare comes in the bag with the manual or in the holder. A blown fuse is a common reason a chair looks dead.
Error 68
Error 68 means the foot rest is not connected to the base. With the chair in zero gravity, there are three connections under the foot rest: two for power and one air hose. They line up by white or pressed dots. If a pin in a connector is broken, the foot rest itself has to be replaced.

What we repair

Weak airbags or hissing
A pinched or cracked hose, a valve that does not open or a tired pump. If only one zone is weak, its hose or valve comes first.
Rollers stopped or stuck
The roller carriage travels on a track with its own motor. A worn belt, a failed motor or a position switch stops it in one place.
Grinding or knocking
Dry or worn gears in the roller mechanism. Grease and a mechanism service fix the dry ones; worn gears are replaced.
Power comes and goes
A loose power cord at the chair after a move, a breaker that trips, or the power board. We check the simple causes first.

Warranty: year one versus later

The standard Osaki and Titan warranty covers parts and labor in the first year and parts only in the second, with the frame covered for three years on selected models. It does not transfer to a new owner and applies only to chairs bought from an authorized dealer. In the first year, call the brand. From the second year, labor is on the owner, and a chair bought second-hand has no warranty at all.

Repair or replace?

Osaki’s top models list between about $8,000 and $16,000, for example the Emperor II at $10,999 and the 4D Vanguard Duo at $15,999. Even mid-range chairs cost several thousand dollars. A fuse, a hose, a valve or a foot rest connection is a small fraction of that, and a board or a motor is still worth repairing on most chairs when the part is available.

Where we repair Osaki and Titan chairs

Frequently asked questions

What does error 68 mean on an Osaki massage chair?
The foot rest is not connected to the base. Put the chair in zero gravity and check the three connections under the foot rest, two for power and one air hose, lined up by their dots. A broken pin means the foot rest needs replacing.
My Osaki will not turn on. What should I check?
The fuse on the back of the chair near the power inlet. A spare comes with the manual. If a new fuse blows again, the chair needs a technician.
Is my used Osaki still under warranty?
No. The Osaki and Titan warranty does not transfer to a new owner, so a second-hand chair is repaired at the owner’s cost.
Do you repair Titan and Kanji chairs too?
Yes. Titan, Kanji and AmaMedic come from the same company as Osaki and share much of the same hardware.
Which areas do you cover?
South Florida from Homestead to Jupiter, Tampa Bay, Sarasota and Manatee, and the Naples and Fort Myers area. Call (754) 345-4515 with your ZIP code if you are not sure.
