Appliance repair services in Palm Beach Gardens
Berne services every major residential appliance in Palm Beach Gardens. Our technicians are W-2 employees (not subcontractors), EPA Section 608 certified for refrigerant work, and every job comes with a tiered parts warranty (up to 10 years) plus 90-day labor warranty on top of the manufacturer warranty for installed parts.
Why Palm Beach Gardens homeowners call Berne
Palm Beach Gardens housing is dominated by the gated golf communities — BallenIsles, Mirasol, PGA National, Old Palm — and the high-end retail corridor at PGA Boulevard. Homes here commonly carry Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, and a growing share of Thermador and Miele after recent kitchen remodels. We see heavy ice-maker board failures (PGA-area homes often run 2-to-3 ice makers between kitchen and outdoor entertaining), and Sub-Zero column compressor service calls are routine. From Boca Raton to PGA Boulevard our technicians need 35 to 50 minutes.
Palm Beach Gardens owners pick Berne for the gated-community gate-pass familiarity, the column-refrigerator experience, and the OEM-parts-only policy that protects warranty coverage on premium brands.

What we fix most often in Palm Beach Gardens
These are the recurring repair patterns our dispatch sees across Palm Beach Gardens addresses. Knowing the failure modes in advance lets us route the right truck stock to your appointment.
Refrigerator condenser-coil corrosion
Salt-laden air shortens coil life on units within a mile of the coast. We clean, treat, and on heavily-corroded units swap to brushed stainless replacement panels and condenser fan motors.
Ice-maker board and solenoid failures
South Florida humidity drives premature ice-maker board failures on GE Profile and KitchenAid units. We carry replacement boards and solenoids on the truck.
Dryer thermal-fuse failures from lint blockage
Long vent runs in townhomes and condos trap lint and trip thermal fuses. We replace the fuse, clean the vent, and verify proper airflow.
Washer drum-bearing failure (LG, Samsung 2018-2022)
Front-load LG and Samsung washers built between 2018 and 2022 commonly fail at the drum bearing between year 4 and year 7. We rebuild the drum or replace the assembly depending on the housing condition.
Dishwasher control-board replacement (Bosch, KitchenAid)
Bosch 800-series and KitchenAid dishwasher control boards are a frequent failure point at the 6-to-9-year mark. OEM board replacement runs $280 to $440 with our $59 diagnostic free if you proceed with the repair.
Range and oven igniter replacement
Glow-bar igniters on GE, Frigidaire, and Whirlpool gas ranges weaken over 8 to 12 years until the oven will not light. Single-visit replacement, $180 to $260 parts and labor.
What to expect from a Palm Beach Gardens service call
Same-day dispatch when scheduled before noon, with morning, midday, and afternoon windows available depending on technician routing. The $59 flat-rate diagnostic fee is waived if you approve the repair — you only pay it if you decide not to proceed, and EPA Section 608 certification covers refrigerant handling on sealed-system jobs. Phone team is bilingual: English, Spanish, and Russian.
Pricing transparency
Most Palm Beach Gardens repairs fall between $160 and $480 in parts and labor. Diagnostic-only visits are $59. Sealed-system refrigerator work (compressor, evaporator, condenser replacement) ranges higher because of the refrigerant-handling component. We provide a written quote on-site before any parts are ordered or installed, and the tiered parts warranty (up to 10 years) plus 90-day labor warranty covers the same fault returning at no additional charge.
Parts policy
OEM parts only on premium brands (Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, Thermador, Miele, Gaggenau, Bosch Benchmark) to preserve manufacturer warranty coverage. For mid-tier brands we will offer aftermarket alternatives at the homeowner’s option when an OEM part is back-ordered beyond a reasonable timeline.
