Bosch is the dishwasher in most South Florida condos built or renovated since 2010, and the E15 code is the reason we know that. E15 means water has reached the base pan under the tub and tripped the float, and the dishwasher will not run until the pan is dry. Owners tilt the machine back, the water drains out, and it works for a week. Then it comes back, because the leak that put the water there is still leaking. The rest of the Bosch list is a drain pump that clogs with glass, a circulation pump that scales in Miami water, and a door latch that fails on the 800 Series. Here is what each one costs and what we actually do.

Bosch dishwasher codes and what they mean
E15: water in the base, will not run
The float in the base pan has tripped. Something inside is leaking: the door seal at the bottom corners, a split sump hose, a cracked drain pump housing, or a heat pump seal on the 800 Series. We find the source with the door panel off and the machine running, fix it, and dry the pan so the float resets. Tilting the machine to drain it is not a repair, and the leak grows.
E24 or E25: will not drain
E24 is a slow or blocked drain, E25 is the drain pump itself. Glass shards in the pump impeller, a blocked filter under the lower rack, a clogged non-return valve, or a drain hose pushed too far into the disposal so it siphons. We clear and test before replacing the pump, because the pump is fine more often than not.
E22: filter blocked
The cylindrical filter at the bottom of the tub is clogged. Cleaning it is a five-minute owner job; when the code persists with a clean filter, the sump underneath is fouled and we clear it.
E09 or E01: heating or heat pump fault
Bosch dishwashers heat water through a heat pump assembly combined with the circulation pump. E09 is the heater not reaching temperature; E01 is a control fault on the heater circuit. In Miami water the heater scales early. A scaled heater is descaled or replaced; a failed heat pump assembly is the biggest single Bosch repair.
E04 or E05: water distribution
The diverter valve that switches water between the upper and lower spray arms, or its sensor. Dishes on one rack come out dirty. A same-day part on the 300 to 800 Series.
Will not start, door light blinks, or door will not latch
The door latch on 500 and 800 Series units fails around year five and the control refuses to start with an open door. Same-visit part. On top-control SHP models a warped control panel can hold the door slightly open and cause the same thing.
Dishes wet, CrystalDry not drying
Rinse aid empty, the rinse-aid dispenser stuck, or on CrystalDry models the zeolite drying unit or its fan. The dispenser is a same-visit part; the drying unit comes through distribution.
White film on glasses, cloudy plastics
Hard water and detergent residue. Bosch dishwashers sold in the US have no built-in softener, so Miami water leaves scale on the heater and the glassware. We descale the circulation path and show you the rinse-aid setting that keeps the film off.

Repair or replace
Pumps, latches, seals, valves, dispensers and modules are worth doing on any Bosch dishwasher under twelve years. The line is the heat pump assembly on a 100 or 300 Series past nine years, where the repair reaches half the price of a new SHE3AR. On an 800 Series or a Benchmark, or any panel-ready unit with a custom front, the heat pump repair is still the right call, because replacement means a new panel too. We give both numbers.
Frequently asked questions
Do you repair Bosch dishwashers in Miami and Broward?
Yes, across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach, seven days a week, all series from Ascenta to Benchmark, including panel-ready units. Same-day slots most days when you call before noon at (754) 345-4515.
What does E15 mean on a Bosch dishwasher?
Water has reached the base pan and tripped the float. Something is leaking inside: a door seal, a hose, the drain pump housing or the heat pump seal. We trace it, fix the part, and dry the pan. Tilting the machine to drain the pan is not a repair; the leak comes back. $150 to $260 for the trace plus the part.
My Bosch shows E24 and will not drain. Is the pump dead?
Usually not. E24 is a slow drain, most often glass in the impeller, a blocked filter or a siphoning drain hose, and clearing runs $130 to $210. E25 is the pump itself, $190 to $340.
Why does my Bosch dishwasher leave white film on glasses?
Miami water. US Bosch dishwashers have no built-in softener, so scale builds on the heater and the glass. We descale the circulation path for $140 to $240 and set the rinse-aid dose that keeps the film off.
How much does Bosch dishwasher repair cost?
Clearing and small parts run $130 to $340. A control module $300 to $520, the heat pump assembly $380 to $640. The $59 service call is free when you approve the repair.
Is a 10-year-old Bosch dishwasher worth repairing?
For a pump, latch, seal, valve or module, yes. For the heat pump assembly on a basic 100 or 300 Series, we quote a new unit beside it. On an 800 Series or a panel-ready unit, repair usually wins because replacement means a new front panel as well.
