If you know your furniture only as an Italian leather sofa with power seats and touch buttons, check the label under the seat: it may well be a Natuzzi. Inside, a Natuzzi is a set of separate motors, each with its own job, wired to a control on the arm. When one motion stops, the cause is usually one motor, one cable or one channel of the control, and the rest of the piece keeps working. We repair that one part at your home.

How Natuzzi power pieces are built

Natuzzi Editions Triple Power
Three separate motors run the reclining seat, the lumbar and the headrest. A three-button switch on the outside of the arm controls them and carries a USB charging port. If one of the three motions stops, we test that motor and its switch position first.
Natuzzi Italia touch controls
Italia-level pieces such as the Fiorita recliner use side-mounted touch controls and a HOME function that returns every mechanism to its starting position. A HOME that no longer brings everything back points to the control or one of the motors.
Wall huggers and dual power
Pieces like Balance and Potenza recline close to the wall and add electric headrests. That means more motors per seat and more cables through the frame.
Large sectionals
The Natuzzi Group leather sectional sold at Costco has three power seats and three power headrests. On a piece like that, we work seat by seat.

Warranty first, on newer pieces

The Natuzzi Italia warranty covers manual and electric mechanisms for two years from delivery, if the piece was registered within fifteen days. It excludes repairs made by technicians Natuzzi has not authorized, and claims start with the retailer, who inspects the defect. Natuzzi Editions pieces get parts only, without labor, after the first year.

So on a Natuzzi younger than two years, check with your retailer before any outside repair. After that, or on an Editions piece where labor is no longer covered, we diagnose and repair it at home.

Repair or replace?

A Natuzzi Editions Triple Power sofa sells from about $2,200, a Fiorita power recliner around $8,000, and a Potenza power sofa lists near $11,800. A motor, a switch or a cable costs a small part of that, so repair is almost always the better call.

Frequently asked questions

One seat of my Natuzzi sofa stopped reclining. Can you fix just that seat?
Yes. Each power seat has its own motor and switch, so we find the part that failed in that seat and replace it.
The touch buttons on my Natuzzi stopped responding. What causes that?
Usually the control itself or its cable, sometimes the power supply. We test the control before ordering anything.
Will an outside repair affect my Natuzzi warranty?
On Natuzzi Italia, the two-year warranty on mechanisms excludes repairs by technicians Natuzzi has not authorized. Inside that period, go through your retailer first. After it, call us.
Do you repair Natuzzi Editions pieces?
Yes. After the first year Natuzzi Editions covers parts only, so the labor is on the owner either way, and we can do it at home.
