Refrigerator bimetal thermostat and frost cleanup in Lauderhill
The freezer in this Lauderhill refrigerator was going extremely cold at times and not cold enough at others. The photos show the evaporator coils buried in frost.
Maksim D. defrosted the ice buildup by hand with steam, cleaned and cleared the drain line and serviced the air circulation vent. He replaced the bimetal thermostat, rewired and reassembled the unit, and finished with a performance and cooling test.
